WESTERN WAY RESIDENCE

2009

This Project was to take a traditional center hall planned house with a series of small rooms, and transform it into an open and modern plan. This was achieved by removing walls and opening up ceilings wherever possible. The new configuration allowed for a continuous wall of bookshelves, window seats, and a more open dramatic space for the new steel stair. The varied wood floors were all stained in a dark ebony stain to tie all of these spaces together.
