COLLEGE ROAD RESIDENCE

2006

This home had many great features to work with at the inception of the project, and therefore the goal was to work with the given context in order to achieve a seamless quality while adding an addition to enlarge the kitchen, connecting the entry areas and developing the exterior spaces for parking, storage and gardens. The site was limited by zoning restrictions and the angles were determined by set-back requirements and the views beyond. Aligning openings and creating long vistas through the rooms gave this rather small and modest  home a flowing and open quality that did not exist before.
